Brunch and bunnies

Happy Easter to those who celebrate!

With B’s limited Step 1 schedule, in lieu of heading out for brunch this morning, I elected to make it at home. Not to mention the crowds – we live in a city of hipster and hippies and those folks sure like their brunch!

It has been a lovely spring weekend here, with temps in the 50’s and a little rain this morning. Exactly what you expect this time of year. I got out for a nice 7-mile run yesterday too. I’ve reached my limit of indoor tracks and treadmills for the season, so even if when the temps dip again, I’ll be hitting the sidewalk or trail.

Spring has brought all the little animals out. Mox nearly caught a squirrel or two during a walk around campus yesterday. Stretches of woofing break out when a bunny or a chipmunk scurries across our patio. When he can’t be out to nearly catch them, he just watches them from the comfort of a soft rug. Rough life this one leads.

Hope the bunny found your house!
